Our Philosophy
Our philosophy at Kawartha Lakes Chiropractic is simple and motion based.
Every joint in the body is intended to have a certain amount of movement in a variety of directions and when this is altered, spinal or joint dysfunction results. This inevitably leads to muscle tightness, joint or associated soft tissue swelling and of course PAIN.
It is our belief that correcting the dysfunction at the joint level which is the cause of these symptoms is more effective than treating the resulting symptoms.
The essence of our care lies in the power of touch. This allows us to detect the previously mentioned symptoms or soft tissue inflammation, muscle contraction and joint limitation, and bring about their change through chiropractic care.
