Our Philosophy

Our philosophy at Kawartha Lakes Chiropractic is simple and motion based.

Every joint in the body is intended to have a certain amount of movement in a variety of directions and when this is altered, spinal or joint dysfunction results. This inevitably leads to muscle tightness, joint or associated soft tissue swelling and of course PAIN.

It is our belief that correcting the dysfunction at the joint level which is the cause of these symptoms is more effective than treating the resulting symptoms.

The essence of our care lies in the power of touch. This allows us to detect the previously mentioned symptoms or soft tissue inflammation, muscle contraction and joint limitation, and bring about their change through chiropractic care.
Dr. Michael Lue Pann is a graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Prior to receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree he studied at Queen’s University completing an Honours Bachelor degree in Biology.

Before Dr. Mike began his career as a chiropractor, he was a life long chiropractic patient. Because of this, he was able to experience the astounding and life-changing benefits that chiropractors provide to patients they treat. Wanting to share his knowledge and experience with others, Dr. Mike was inspired to become a chiropractor to provide top quality care to his patients.

Dr. Mike believes that his patients’ health comes first and that proper body movement and function is important to your overall health and well-being. If your body doesn’t move properly, it can negatively affect your health, manifesting into pain, muscle tightness and soreness, inflammation and decreased quality of life. Through chiropractic treatment, it is Dr. Mike’s goal to restore proper movement and function to your body to alleviate symptoms and help you optimize your health.

When he is not practicing chiropractic, Dr. Mike likes to stay active by frequently visiting the gym, playing hockey and fishing in the Kawartha Lakes.

Dr. Mike is very excited to be joining the Kawartha Lakes Chiropractic team and looks forward to meeting you!
